Shipping Policy

Orders are usually shipped within 3-5 business days of the order’s placement (except for commissioned art), but extenuating circumstances can delay your shipment by a week or so, especially items requiring personalized signatures. Personalized items are usually shipped every Thursday. Domestic U.S. orders are shipped via the shipping method of your choosing at the time of ordering, and charges reflect the costs of that service. A small handling fee is added to each shipment to help cover the costs of packaging and materials.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped USPS International Service, and are tracked only to their point of departure of the United States. After that, they become the responsibility of the country of destination’s postal service, and we assume no liability for lost or damaged items and can no longer track your package. Consumer assumes this risk in purchasing. We are happy to provide you with the customs number for your shipment. SPECIAL NOTE TO CUSTOMERS FROM BRAZIL: We have experienced higher than usual problems with non-delivery to locations in the country of Brazil. Please bear in mind if you order any items that ship to Brazil, any non-delivery or damage is not our responsibility and will not result in any refunds or replacement items. You agree to assume the risk of shipment.

Returns Policy

Returns

We accept returns only on items shipped within the United States that are received damaged in transit. We take great care in packing up all shipped items to prevent damage while they travel to you, but postal carriers don’t always take the same care. If you received an item that is damaged, return it to us for a full refund or exchange. You must return the damaged item, and any return shipping costs will be at your expense. We will not issue a refund or exchange without the item(s) return.

All other sales are final. No returns or refunds.

Refunds or exchanges

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. or a replacement item will be shipped out to you. Refunds will be LESS any electronic processing fees imposed by PayPal, Amazon or any other payment processing service used.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at store @ tomrichmond.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
