Christopher Lee…My favorite Dracula of all time! Love what you have done with all the caricatures of the movie/TV Dracula’s. Keep on drawing…amazing work!!
P.S. Would like to see you do the same with the actors that have played the Frankenstein monster over the years.
I don’t think that one is in the cards. Early Universal films used their copyrighted makeup that Karloff first wore in 1931’s “Frankenstein”, so Lon Cheney Jr., Bela Lugosi and Glenn Strange look basically the same except around the mouth. Charles Stanton Ogle’s silent film version is different and some later incarnations are very different, since Universal had the rights to their look, but the portrayal of the character only differs in a few versions. I don’t find that as interesting, but never say never I guess.
Your satirical take on these characters should make for another fun print. Looking forward to more of the daily unveiling’s.
There was that 6ft Frankenstein poster by Jack Davis in the Warren magazines; maybe a one-off in that direction.
