8 Days of Batmen- Lewis Wilson!
No sense playing coy here, so let’s get on with it.
Yes, I do have a new limited edition print coming out. Following my ongoing theme of caricatures of a single fictional character portrayed by multiple actors in film and TV, the subject of this print is Batman… very appropriate considering it’s the 75th anniversary of the character this year. Like all my prints, each caricature pokes some fun at the way he (or she) is portrayed by the individual actors and the films or shows they appeared in.
The print is debuting next week at the Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con, and will be available here in The Studio Store next week. Leading up to the online release, I will be posting a sneak peek of the final art for each Batman every day in chronological order, starting with the star of the 1942 movie serial series “Batman”, Lewis Wilson.

Impressive, old chum! Need bit of trivia: the son of this actor, Michael, produces the James Bond films along with Barbara Broccoli! Look out Dr. Daka!
Oops, should be “neat” bit of trivia! Kinda’ ties this into the Bond print! Maybe you can draw the Robins some time. Would love to see Wilson’s co-star Douglas Croft with the high frizzy hair!
Tom will you be offering a print with a sketch on it as well like the others. I definitely will be picking this up
