Another Workshop in the Books!
May 8th, 2017 | Posted in News
I taught another great group of students this past weekend here in Minnesota… including one who came all the way from Brisbane, Australia! My traditional class T-shirt illustration is above.
I’ve only got one workshop with spaces still available this year, and it’s next month in Pittsburgh. Details here.

Thanks Tom for a fantastic Workshop! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to develop their caricaturing skills, no matter what level they are at. The live interaction and actually seeing the way you draw, along with your explanations of decisions made has taught me things that would take ages (if ever) to learn on my own and your critiques are encouraging and not only uncovered issues that I wasn’t aware of but provided solutions to them too. The small class environment and exposure to other like-minded, talented individuals was an unexpected but very pleasant side benefit.
All the best for future workshops!
Dez – The one who came all the way from Brisbane Australia
(If I can do it ANYONE can!)
Are ever going to have a workshop close to Houston, TX.?. . .If so. . let me know.
10,000% agree with Dez 🙂 It was a great experience, and Tom was a very gracious host. Not only was he available for one-on-one critiques which were very helpful, but he also answered every question that was asked of him, in any context, covering the entire realm of art and illustration. I felt like I learned a lot and was rejuvenated being able to “talk shop” with so many great people.
