Batman Begins Parody Art on eBay
I’ve relisted the artwork for the entire Batman Begins parody on eBay. Previously I had listed it but canceled the auction after being advised by someone I greatly respect that this particular parody has a great deal of value because of the subject matter alone, and I should not sell it for so cheap. After I ended the auction I received further advice from an individual who sells MAD originals for a living that I would be lucky to get that much or it, an that only??ᬨ‚Ć Jack Davis, Wally Wood and Mort Drucker art from MAD sells at $300.00 a page.
Well, I’ve giving it a try again. I never let the auction play out last time. If it sells, it sells. If not, I’ll keep it.
So, If you’ve got the cash and are interested in owning a complete parody of a major motion picture that appeared in MAD, check out the link above.

I’m eventually hoping to purchase one of your Lost pages. Maybe in the next couple of months.. unless they get sold.
Well, I just adjusted the prices on the Studio Store items… most are lower than they were.
If I had that much cash, I would definitely buy it, even if that’s ALL the cash I had. It has extra sentimental value to me, because I’ve actually seen the splash page up close(Toonfest 2005, Marceline, MO) and it would have been sooooo easy for me to just have stolen it right then(which I would never do, of course). I even have a photo of you holding the magazine in front if it.
The original was so awesome to see up close(understatement, actually), especially when I very coincidentally actually had that exact MAD Magazine with me! It gave me a great insight on how those pages are put together.
Right now, I’m struggling to afford a new hard drive for my iBook. Hopefully I’ll have a shot at it some day, even if it’s somebody reselling it at twice the original cost.
Tom I am very very happy with the Fools of Rock artwork and it now takes pride of place in my studio! Thanks for sending it over and I hope you are successful with the EbaY sale, that parody is worth every dime and more!
