My revised Doctor Who limited edition print was finally delivered today. It only took three printings with one lost by FedEx, but the print including Jodie Whittaker‘s 13th Doctor is here. A Monday MADness Random Panel(s)!

December 23rd, 2019 | Posted in Monday MADness

MAD often had a knack for predicting the future, mostly because in pointing out the absurdities, hypocrisies, and fallacies of their subject matter through satire, they were usually right on target. Baby Yoda, anyone? These panels are from MAD‘s spoof of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” from MAD #539, June 2016, written by the mysterious David Richards. Incidentally I posted this in honor of this past weekend’s release of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, which I actually got to see and enjoyed quite a lot. I went against my better judgement and made this announcement while the print was in production and not once I had it in my hands.… READ MORE

Sketch o’the Week- Hayden Panettiere!

December 18th, 2019 | Posted in Sketch O'The Week

I’m under the gun with work today so no time for a sketch. Here’s an old one from 2006 of TV show “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere. I added the grays in with the pencils for inclusion in The Mad Art of Caricature. It’s hard to believe that show was almost 15 years ago now. READ MORE
