I was sad to hear of the sudden death of Tom Petty this past Monday. He was one of those rockers who had a bigger impact on music than you think at first glance. When I heard he had passed away I initially thought “that’s too bad” but I didn’t consider myself much of a fan. Then I got thinking about his music and how much of it I really liked.
