Whoops! That last spot got snapped up. Sorry. I’ll have more workshops in 2018! Due to that cancellation I still have one spot left in my September workshop in Eagan, MN. The Minnesota workshops are unique in that we spend Friday evening at my home and studio, where I not only feed and water you but demonstrate my inking and illustration techniques in my studio and with my usual tools and equipment. Very different experience from the traveling roadshow that is the out of town workshops. I know I just got back from San Diego Comic Con, but now here I am off to Wizard World Chicago formerly known as Chicago Comic Con, Aug 24-27th at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Alas I will be solo this year as The Lovely Anna has a family event that cropped up that weekend that I should be at also but I am committed to being at the show. Me and my booth babe The Lovely Anna Another SDCC in the books. Had a great time as always. Many thanks to all the people that came up to say hello and chat, and especially those who commissioned a caricature or sketch cover or bought some of my garbage. One of the highlights for me was once again being called up on stage to do a little drawing game during the “Quick Draw” show on Saturday. My final workshop of 2017, being conducted here in Minnesota Sept 15th-17th is SOLD OUT! However, if you are interested in attending please send us a note and we’ll add you to the waitlist. We almost always have a cancellation or two, so your chances of getting a spot are good… especially if you get on the waitlist early. If I get a cancellation I start with the first person on the waitlist and offer them the spot, then work my way down the list if they are unable to attend.
