The End of the MAD Movie/TV Parody?

MAD #10 just dropped this week, and it features a TV parody (kind of) in “The Manmaid’s Tale” and a montage of film parodies of horror movie sequels in “Xander and Kam’s Night of the Living Sequels”. Sadly, these might be the last new film or TV show parodies ever printed in MAD Magazine. MAD #10 Cover Revealed!

Bloody-Disgusting.com just released an exclusive look at the cover of MAD #10, art by Jason Edmiston. That link also has a peek at Sergio Aragonés‘ “A MAD Look at Alfred Hitchcock Movies”, all a part of their October “Halloween” issue. The issue hits newsstands comes out Oct. 8th. I have two pieces in this issue. There are a lot of rumors going around that MAD is ceasing publication after this issue. MAD #10 Sneak Peek!

MAD has been busy posting sneak peeks at the upcoming issue no. 10 on their Instragram account, and today they posted a cropped part of a panel from one of the two pieces I have in this issue. The feature is called “Xander & Kam’s Night of the Living Sequels!”, and it’s a return to the short multiple film spoof format last seen in MAD No. 2.
