This year’s “Mad about MAD” panel at New York Comic Con was special in a number of ways. Oh, it had the usual hilarity lead by VP, Editor and Executive Grand Poo-bah John Ficarra and VP of Art Direction and Grand High Schmuck Sam Viviano. It also had a stellar line up of “The Usual Gang of Idiots” including editors Joe Railoa and Charlie Kadau, former editor Nick Meglin, living legend Al Jaffee, long-time writer Dick DeBartolo, cover artist Mark Fredrickson, and cartoonist Teresa Burns Parkhurst. Here’s a look at another series of character sketches I did for a segment on the “MAD” animated show on Cartoon Network. This one was a spoof of teh Bravo network show “The Millionaire Matchmaker” featuring Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark. The animators used previous designs I’d done for Batman and Iron Man for those parts. The above image is the host of the TV show Patti Stanger, and the girl in the fish nets and the guy with the beard are two other personalities from the show. Video clip below. READ MORE
