When Desmond and I announced the last two stretch goals for CLAPTRAP, we knew it was a really long shot we’d be able to make it to $64,000 by the end of the campaign. In fact, we figured it was impossible. We had a long way to go, not a lot of time to get there, and all the really big ticket perks were sold out. But “go big or go home” as they say. Holy Veeblefetzer, Batfink! Our awesome backers just got us past the $60,000 mark on our CLAPTRAP book campaign in Indiegogo, unlocking our penultimate stretch goal. Des and I will now be adding six additional pages to the book, consisting of six movie poster parodies. That’s more laughs for the same price… cheap! One more stretch goal to go! With only 10 days to go before the end of our IndieGoGo campaign for CLAPTRAP, Desmond Devlin and my book of movie parodies, it’s a bit of a… uh… STRETCH to think we can reach either of these two last second stretch goals. Well, we didn’t hit any of them. We are actually VERY GRATEFUL to the 400 people who have backed our book project! THANK YOU BACKERS!! We are also very close to our third stretch goal, where Des and I add an 11th movie parody to the book! This one benefits everybody, because you get more guffaws for your greenbacks! All crowdfunding campaigns have different levels of “perks” representing different levels of backer support. Our CLAPTRAP book IndieGoGo campaign has several, like the “Putz” ($12- you get a PDF of the entire Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker parody), the “Clod” ($25- you get a copy of the hardcover book), etc. BTW you get all the stuff from lower perk tiers when you contribute at a higher one, so the higher you go the more stuff you get! One of the higher tiers is the “Schmendrick”. If you are a Schmendrick (or higher) you get all the stuff from lower perk tiers plus you’ll be getting… READ MORE
