This isn’t really a SotW, but one of the special “Christmas Commissions” I did early this month. Most of those pieces were caricatures of those who bought them or their friends/family, so posting those is kind of pointless since most readers won’t know what the subjects look like. However a few people asked me to do celebrities. This one is of Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen and Billy Joel, and was one of my favorites I did. If you are curious it was done on Strathmore 300 smooth bristol using brush pens and Copic markers, with a touch of colored pencil and white paint. READ MORE
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was quoted yesterday as saying she hopes people remember her as being “transparent and honest“. I happen to be drawing her for a side job right now. I’ve got the original for sale in the Studio Store… it would make a great Christmas gift to that special S.H.S. fan in your life! READ MORE

Super busy right now so here is a “flashback” sketch of Garbage lead singer Shirley Manson. Actually I did this one as part of a series of sketches from the short lived 2008-2009 TV series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”, in which Ms. Manson played a terminator. Thus the wind up key gag. This sketch appeared in my book The Mad Art of Caricature, which is why I added the digital grays. READ MORE
