I’m in San Diego setting up for Comic Con, which starts TONIGHT! I have no time or scanners available to do a SotW. So, here’s a sneak peek at a couple of the rough penciled pages for the 47 page story I’m pencilling and inking for the company Sitcomics. Z-People is a humorous story about zombies and a group of survivors trying to figure out what to do. I’m inking the last few pages right now and the comic will be out sometime soon. READ MORE

I’m in Germany right now visiting with my son who is studying here for the summer, so this week’s SotW will have to be another cheat. At my caricature workshops I always ask the class to pick subjects for our warm up sketches, and then I do an image search and pick a picture to work from. Sketch o’the Week- Conway Twitty?

Yes, you read that right. Conway Twitty! Country/rockabilly music star of the 1970’s. Kind of random? Well, one of the things I do at my workshops as a warmup exercise is ask the class for subjects that we then do quick warm up studies of. This was one of the suggested subjects at my recent Pittsburgh workshop. Also, I have been asked to post the reference photo with my sketches.
