You can probably guess what this new caricature of William Hartnell as the first Doctor Who is for. I have at least a dozen people come up to me at every convention I appear at and ask if I still have any Doctor Who prints, and who are very disappointed that they are sold out. So, I am finally succumbing to the many requests that I do a new DH print that includes Peter Capaldi and John Hurt. Here’s the last of my “True Detective” series, “Frank Semyon” as portrayed by Vince Vaughn. I have to say I was disappointed in this season of “True Detective” (Don’t worry, no spoilers here). The storytelling was convoluted, introducing motivations and characters involved in key events almost right before the plot lines they were part of were resolved. That’s not very fair when viewers spend 8 plus hours trying to understand the story behind the crime being investigated. Sloppy and poor storytelling, and a waste of a dynamite cast.
