This week’s sketch is done in honor of Number One Son Thomas, 15, who thinks Zooey Deschanel is “the greatest person in the world”… Translation: “She’s hot.” READ MORE

Getting caught up on posts… been busy. This week’s SotW subject is local Minnesota embarrassment Kris Kardashian Humphries. Humphries grew up in the Hopkins area and played college basketball at the University of Minnesota. He quit after his freshman year and went pro, where he has enjoyed a thoroughly mediocre career so far. I hope he enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame (okay, 72 days) being married to Kim Kardashian, as he will forever be more famous for that than for playing basketball. READ MORE

Once again, a day late and a dollar short. I’ve been working on a MAD job that took far longer to pencil out than I thought it would and didn’t have the time to post a sketch yesterday. Anyway, here’s a drawing of celebrity nutcase Charlie Sheen. I did one of him once before, but I saw a profile/three-quarter view picture of him that was perfect for that pointy nose, jutting chin and neanderthal brow, and couldn’t resist. READ MORE

I chose this week’s sketch subject to make my wife The Lovely Anna and my youngest daughter, The Effervescent Gabrielle, happy as they are both big fans of the TV show Castle. I know what you are thinking: “So, why is Janet Leigh of Pyscho fame dressed as an elf in this ink sketch?” That’s a good question . . . READ MORE

This week’s Sketch o’the Week is actor Leslie David Baker, AKA Stanley Hudson from the TV Show The Office. I have to admit I have never seen a full episode of The Office, although I have no doubt the show deserves all of it’s many accolades. In the meantime… what a face! READ MORE

This week is another of the sketches I did for my “Secret Agent Man” limited edition print (which are still available! :D), this one of Timothy Dalton. I thought I was being very clever when I did the art for that print. I wanted to make sure I did something that would be appreciated by even hardcore Bond fans. I wanted the poses, attitudes, accessories, etc. to be spot on. I underestimated how hardcore those fans can be, however. I was taken to task over several blunders, like the ruffles on George Lazenby’s shirt being horizontal, not vertical. The worst offense was that I put… READ MORE
