Comic Con Exclusive Mini-Print, etc!
July 19th, 2016 | Posted in News
You might recognize this caricature of Clint Eastwood from the cover of my book. It’s never appeared anywhere but in the book before… until now. This is a Comic-Con exclusive 6×9 inch mini-print (sans the copyright stamp) that I’ll have for sale for $5 (cheap) at my booth at San Diego Comic Con. Other new things I’ll have this year:
- My new “Dracula” print- which debuts at SDCC on Wednesday the 2oth, and online here on the 21st (details on Thursday).
- “The Doctor Makes House Calls” limited edition print– My totally redone lineup of all the Doctor Whos, including the 12th Doctor and the War Doctor, featuring all new caricatures of the original 11. This debuted at New York Comic Con last year, but this is the first time I’ll have them in San Diego.
- MAD Sketch Covers!- MAD #538 had a blank sketch cover variant which were not very easy to find. I’ve got a whole pile of them. I’ll be selling them only with an original commissioned sketch by me, costs vary by the complexity of the art.
Stop by the booth and say “Alfred E. Neuman for President” and get a free signed “Batman/Superman #10 MAD Variant cover” mini print!

A really good one, and perfect timing. I watched parts of 3 Clint spaghetti westerns on TCM last night, switching back and forth with the convention. It all became one after awhile. I’m still hearing Ennio Morricone’s music. As Don Martin might write it – Aw-ee-aw-eee-aaawww!….. Wah waah waaahhhh!.
Tom, my first thoughts were that this piece was by Sebastian Krüger–whose work is so cool though he has a certain obsession for the Rolling Stones. I like how Clint’s head towers in the air, much higher than the buttes (and pinnacles) in the background and is a beaut’ itself 🙂 Oh, and I can’t quite remember, but did Clint just pop up in your homepage background of a hundred heads, or was he always there–maybe we’ll never know 😉
