Daily Coronacature- Idris Elba!

Here’s my caricature of today’s “Daily Coronacature” subject Idris Elba. Wishing him a speedy and full recovery from the virus.

My thoughts on this one:

Idris has a wide head shape, mainly because there is a lot of space between the outside corners of his eyes and the sides of his head. Ordinarily that would mean his eyes are close together, but they are not. In fact he’s got a pretty wide nose bridge and a lot of space between his eyes as well. The only way to pull that off is to make his eyes small, so you can space them out and still have room for the space on the outside. He also has a crooked, roguish smile.
