Illustration Throwback Thursday #82: New Delhi Con Poster!
December 3rd, 2020 | Posted in Illustration Throwback Thursday
Back in 2016 I was a guest at the New Delhi Comic Con in Okhla, South New Delhi. I spent three days at the con signing stuff, doing drawings and made a presentation on Sunday. I did the above illustration as a Delhi Comic Con exclusive for the show. It’s an imaginary MAD cover featuring Alfred as the title character from the Bollywood film “Enthiran” (“Robot” in English) starring a well-known and loved actor in India, Rajinikanth. If you’ve never seen the movie “Enthiran”, it’s got some crazy special effects that will blow you away.

Love the movie Enthiran. Even if one can’t get a copy of the movie you can watch a collection of clips of the action sequences on YouTube. But if you watch the movie you can justify it as a distorted love story.
Because of learning about this movie previously from your blog – I checked it out online and saw one of the craziest action sequences I’ve ever seen in a movie! It was bizarre and wild ~
