Mailbag Empty!
Looks like it’s that time again… no questions to answer in the mailbag. I actually only have to post this maybe once or twice a year, and only because many of the questions I get are repeats of ones I have answered more than once in the past (I’ve had this feature running for almost ten years, and this is the 468th “mailbag” post) or of the “please show me how to crosshatch” variety that are impossible to answer in a few paragraphs.
It’s entirely possible that people have run out of questions. There are only so many questions people might have about freelancing, illustration, MAD, etc. So maybe this feature has run its course. I guess that’s up to you.
So, if you have questions concerning cartooning, illustration, freelancing, MAD Magazine or other similar subjects I’ll be happy to answer them as best I can. E-mail me your questions and I’ll try and answer them here!

Hello!
I love your art work, your post/email bag questions. Was wondering since some of us has not been on Facebook for ten years, could you rerun some of the questions other people already ask you about the art world, cross hatch, Mad Magazine, different drawing patterns, materials, markers etc. for the once like myself who missed out on your blogs please. Sure would appreciate it very much.
Thank you!

Ft. Wayne, In.
P. S. Also was wondering if there’s a chance for you to come to Ft. Wayne to speak and have a demonstration on caricatures, Mad Magazine, drawing tech, etc.? That would be great if you could.
You do realize that the entire library of all my Sunday Mailbag Q&As are still on my blog, and can be read or searched at any time, right? Here’s a link to them all in reverse chronological order: https://www.tomrichmond.com/category/mailbag/ You can also use the “Search” feature of my blog to look for subjects that interest you and likely several Mailbag posts will come up.
It’s unlikley I will be going to Fort Wayne to do any speaking. I only do that if invited for some festival, cartooning event or occasionally at a college.
