MPAA’s “The Credits” Interview!
August 1st, 2019 | Posted in General
Holy Media Overload, Batman! An interview with me about the Tarantino film art and the process behind it posted today on the Motion Picture Association of America’s “The Credits” feature, written by noted film critic and author Nell Minow. I think my Warholian 15 minutes might be in play.

As most people are aware, the movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” incorporates the Charles Manson story into its plot. I feel if you know the actual events around that time it adds to your appreciation of the film.
My absolute favorite podcast is Karina Longworth’s excellent “You Must Remember This”, a well-written and researched series about Hollywood’s first century. Episodes 44-55 cover “Charles Manson’s Hollywood” and offer the listener a wealth of information that is probably about as tastefully presented as possible. Again, if you give those episodes a listen and know the background, I believe it adds to one’s enjoyment of this latest fromTarantino.
That was a great article! I cracked up at the end with the bit about Gandolfini! Great stuff and congrats on a cool gig!
