Once again I have two pieces in this issue, but that’s not unusual this time around:

* This issue’s annual “50 Worst Things About…” feature was approached a little differently this year. In the past one artist has always done all the art for the piece… I did the “50 Worst Things About Sports” a few years back. This time the art department decided to do something it had never done… try and get as many current MAD artists involved in one feature as possible. The result was 32 different artists making a contribution to the “5o Worst Things About Advertising”. Here is the complete list of contributors to this story in the order in which they appear:

I also did a 4 page parody called “America’s Next Top Mobster”, which was a clever idea combining “America’s Next Top Model” and “The Sopranos”. I had a lot of fun doing that one. I’ll post some sneak peeks tomorrow.
