Wow…kind of a shock to see a photo-manip cover on a MAD magazine. Have they done this before or is this a first?
Gosh, I’m not sure how I feel about this cover. I’ve been reading Mad for over 40 years and I’ve grown accustomed to change and have enjoyed seeing the work of new talent with a fresh take on what Mad can be… but, I gotta say I’m not real keen on a straight Photoshopped illustration. I’m not outraged or anything, but I am a little taken aback. I’m curious to see what “Pickles” came up with in the way of illustrating the new staff.
