Yes, I did the cover. I’ve been wanting to do a MAD cover for a long time but my style of art is too cartoony for the regular magazine. They thought it was a good fit for MAD KIDS though, and I was given the opportunity to do this one.

I also did a resurrected MAD staple item in this issue, which is the old MAD cut-out feature they used to do. They did a mobile and a few other such premiums in the past in the regular MAD. Here we did something called “Wall Webbers” which is a similar concept.

Tomorrow I will write about the process of the cover, which was much different than a regular MAD job, and give everyone a sneak peek at the “Wall Webbers”.
