Orlando Workshop Warmup!
I wrapped up my Orlando workshop Sunday but I’m still here visiting with my youngest daughter The Effervescent Gabrielle for her birthday, so the rest of the week I’ll be posting the ‘warm up’ sketches the class and I did over the weekend. Here’s one of them… disgraced comedy legend Bill Cosby.
These “workshop warmups” are 3 or 4 sketches we do in the morning to get loose for the rest of the day. Someone in the class suggests a subject, I do an image search for a good reference, and then project the image up on the big screen with a blank area to the right of the pic. The entire class spends 10-15 minutes doing a quick caricature from that projected pic, while I draw in that blank area on the right. I’m working on a Wacom MobilestudioPro 16. The one you see above I spend a little extra time tightening up during one of the lunch breaks.
My 2020 workshops are stating to sell out. Las Vegas, Burbank, Chicago and Detroit are now completely sold out. Long Island City has only one spot left. Dublin has three left. The only one with a fair amount of open spaces is Vienna. Grab a spot while you can, or get added to the waitlist of the one you missed out on.
