Pittsburgh Workshop Report
I spent last weekend in Pittsburgh PA with the crazy crew shown above teaching one of my caricature workshops. As usual I had a lot of diversity in skill level, from beginners to seasoned live caricature pros to professional cartoonists/comic book artists and animators. We had a lot of fun, drew a lot of faces and (I hope) everyone learned something. Thanks to the group for taking the workshop!
I have one more workshop this year with available space in it, taking place Sept 15th-17th here in Minnesota. The MN workshops are unique in that the Friday event happens here in my home/studio and I am able to share my illustration process much more completely and in depth as a result. Plus you get to hang out in my studio for an evening and see all my cool stuff, AND The Lovely Anna puts on a pretty good buffet complete with her world famous chocolate chip cookies. It’s work a little extra $$ for a plane ticket or a longish drive here for that.
