Sketch o’the Week
January 5th, 2011 | Posted in Sketch O'The Week
We kick off 2011 with a small warm-up study of Javier Bardem from his role in “No Country for Old Men”. Done with a 005 Pigma Micron pen with a couple of touches from a Kuretake brush-like marker. I was always fascinated how the hairstyle, slumping shoulders and stiff posture Bardem assumed for this character made his neck look gigantically thick.

Really, really nice! I love the cross hatching!
Hi Tom nice sketch, thats a really great result with the Kuretake marker it puts a darker look to the piece, just the right touch. Take care.
