Classic Rock Sketches #1- Janis Joplin!
March 25th, 2015 | Posted in Classic Rock Sketch Series
Better late then never today I guess… still playing catch up from my trip to Toronto.
I’ve decided for my “Sketch o’the Week” to do a series of classic rock musicians… ones I have not already done like I did Jimi Hendrix. I’m kicking it off with Janis Joplin.
I’ll consider any suggestions people may have.

Maybe not yet considered “Classic Rock”, but my vote would be for the very charismatic Bon Scott. Cool idea!
Nice composition with the glass, perspective, and all. Pete Townshend’s features come to mind for another sketch.
How could you not have a “field day,” as you say, with Steve Perry from “Journey’?
Carlos Santana; Grace Slick; Joe Cocker; Keith Richards; Neil Young; Jimmy Page; Robert Plant; Roger Waters; Richie Havens; Eric Clapton; Greg Allman; Jerry Garcia; Jim Morrison; Bob Dylan
I’ll second Neil Young.
I’ll first Jimmy Page
How about Jim Croce?
Frank Zappa?
Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Gregg Allman, Kiss, Motley Crue, Lemmy (Motorhead), Angus Young
Paul McCartney
Frank valli
Bono and Elton John come to mind.
