Sketch Week- Thursday
December 11th, 2008 | Posted in Sketch O'The Week
I finally got to go to the theater a few days ago and see “Quantum of Solace”, the new James Bond film starring today’s sketch subject Daniel Craig. I liked it. Not as good as “Casino Royale” but there wasn’t nearly as much story in “Quantum” as there was in “Casino”. Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery, and the updating of the character is welcome. Hopefully future films will continue in the same spirit and not regress into the slapstick antics that plagued the later Roger Moore films.

I personally did not like the movie. Why? It had pretty much a pointless story. I mean kudos to bond for finding the guy who killed Vespa, but there was no real point. They could have had it where bond just found the killer in the beginning and then made the rest of the movie into a new mission for bond. Sure it had great action, and what was up with Bond killing every person he saw? Also did they need to have the red headed lady in there? With no real plot, the movie was pointless. They could have done a much better job. Thats just my two cents.
