Some New Park Samples
July 6th, 2009 | Posted in General
As long as we are talking a lot this week about theme park caricatures, display samples, etc., here are three new samples I drew and painted while working at Valleyfair last week. Frequent readers of The MAD Blog will recognize these as past drawings from the “Sketch o’the Week”:

They all look great Tom!
Love ’em all! Excellent, hilarious likenesses!
Love the addition of the lollypop on the MJ caricature! haha!
These are terrific! One thing though… House never wears an actual doctor’s coat, haha. Great likenesses all around.
If I ever got into live caricature, I suppose I’d have to pick up a copy of People magazine or something since I don’t have a TV. The doctor guy I’ve seen in pictures, but I have no idea who he is.
I’ve never done live stuff, but just recently started following various blogs, and I notice the difference between the airbrush stuff, and the art stick work. Is the airbrush ultimately more cost effective?
How are u doin? I was wondering how do you figure out the cheek bone place ment that lead to the stretch such as the docter and mike? Is there away to understand the stretch ?
