Stooges Week! Curly Howard
November 6th, 2013 | Posted in Sketch O'The Week
Today’s Stooge is Curly Howard, younger brother of Shemp and Moe, and arguably the most popular of the Stooges. Curly had a debilitating stroke in 1946, and never recovered enough to return to the Stooges (although he did have a brief cameo in a later film featuring Shemp).

You got him! Right in the middle of a Nyuk! Ha!
That is just so GREAT Tom!
This is a great one. Curly is harder to draw than most people would think.
The short that had the 4 Stooges was called “Hold that Lion”. There’s your trivia for the day.
Curly actually had a cameo in a stooge short, playing a passenger on a train, with no lines…I don’t remember the name but it had a lion in it.
Your drawings on the Cintiq are getting better with each one.
This one looks better because I spent a little extra time on it, and did it at a higher resolution. The next two will be more like the first three.
Where’s Shemp, he’s Moe and Curly’s brother

And he was in a movie with Abbott & Costello
