Super Auction
January 13th, 2011 | Posted in General
The Daily Cartoonist reported today about an auction of Superman memorabilia set for January 22nd that includes a lot of rare stuff like the above costume, reportedly worn by George Reeves in the 1950’s TV show. That costume is estimated to go for about $120,000.
I wonder if I’d get anything for my superman costume, circa 2006??

Hi Tom really nice costume i think people will give you some money if you do live caricature in one of your theme places dressed like Super….of course known people. Take care.
I thought you were a batman guy. What’s with wearing the other Goya colors? Ha
Had to change it up sometimes… plus the Batman costume has two major drawbacks… first, it’s uncomfortably hot and I can only handle being in it for a few hours. Second, when you work as hard as i do in the gym to have real muscles it sucks to wear a suit has rummer muscles that would make anybody look jacked.
Maybe work on a grey and black or grey and blue Batsy costume. Like in 2004 well done Superman/Batman independent trailer. I bet you could pull it off.
