The Daily Coronacature- Albert Einstein!
Here’s my sketch of today’s “The Daily Coronacature” subject- Albert Einstein! As usual, the original is available in my Studio Store.
Today is the one year anniversary of the start of “The Daily Coronacature”! On March 17th, 2020, I posted and drew our first subject… Eugene Levy. That was 366 days ago. It’s been a long year, but our little daily drawing exercise has been a fun distraction. I did it all myself for 100 days, then brought in a couple of others to start picking the subjects and posting on the Facebook Group Page and our Instagram account. I’ve just been choosing the Wednesday subject since late June, and sometimes jump in and draw the other subjects as well.
However today was my last day of picking any subjects. I’m stepping back from TDC completely, as I am about to get crazy with work for several months. I’ll still do my “Sketch o’the Week”, but I will no longer be concerned with picking a subject that had already been picked as a TDC subject, or have any other considerations.
TDC will continue for as long as there are people willing to pick subjects and admin the FB group. The Instragram account has been deleted, but that was just subject announcements. Follow along on the FB Group for the daily subject, and you can continue to post your drawings there or on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #thedailycoronacature!
Thanks for the highlights in a year of lowlights.
