Tom’s upcoming online caricature course features interactive demand video lessons where you will draw along with Tom as he explains and teaches his approach, process, and techniques in the art of caricature. He will share his observations of specific subjects, explain what he looks for and how he chooses to exaggerate a face, demonstrate his process both with live caricature and studio work, demo his techniques, and share his nearly four decades of professional knowledge in a fantastic multi-video experience. Students will draw along with Tom throughout the workshop, examining and caricaturing face after face while he explains and demonstrates how he approaches specific elements and how he draws them to great effect.

Drawing on his experience teaching theme park caricature artists for almost 40 years, and conducting over 50 in person caricature workshops all over the world since 2017, Tom brings a wealth of experience and expertise from the worlds of live caricature, comics and illustration. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from the artist who literally “wrote the book” on caricature!
