YOU DID IT! 12 Parodies!

Thanks to the incredible support of our backers, CLAPTRAP‘s 5th and final stretch goal just got unlocked! There will now be TWELVE FULL MOVIE PARODIES in the book, which if you include the six movie poster spoofs from our previous stretch goal and other surprises, will probably push the book close to or over 100 pages!! THANK YOU ALL!

What’s next? The “funding’ portion of the campaign ends at midnight PST tomorrow, and the book project’s Indiegogo page moves into the “Indemand” phase. Indemand is basically an online store, where anyone can go in and preorder a copy of the book. This will continue until we have the book in hand and have fulfilled all the backer’s perks. At that point I’ll have the book available on my website for direct order, while supplies last!

If you are a “Doofus” level backer or up, expect an email from Des and I next week, where we will begin the process of having you nominate movies for us to spoof, and then vote on the top nominees to choose the last three movies on the list. We’ll announce the results in a backer update and elsewhere. Des and I will then pick the final movie we do.

In the meantime, Des and I will really get to work on the book itself. We’ll be sharing sneak peeks as we go, all along the process. If you are a backer, you’ll get the first look at new splash pages and other sneak peeks.
